Chris was one of the first people to join my Cosmology Group and contributed his enthusiasm and high intelligence over the years - he was a vital, charming, and delightful member of the group.  He was fascinated by the mystery of the universe, its origins, evolution, and future trajectory.  I particularly remember an excellent paper he presented at one meeting on black holes, well researched and dynamically presented. Obviuously he dreamed stars,planets and nebulae!  Now that he has become part of that cosmos, perhaps he is now learning the full answers to all his insightful questioning. I hope so.  Denise Sims.
